These were awarded for ten years of service on the Executive of the Society	The judges worked hard to sort the blooms to choose a first second and third in Singles, Doubles and Miniatures and a winner for the Seedlings.

Winners were: Ray Ellwood (2nd in Minis with Sprinkle Rain), Wally (and Thelma) Morgan (1st in the Minis with Sylvia Goodman and 3rd in the Doubles with Double Ronda D), Richard Mansbridge (2nd in the Singles with Bronco), Gynith Whatmough (Champion Seedling Desleigh Anne), Greg (and Julie) Lindsay (1st and Grand Champion in Singles with Jay's Orange, 2nd in Doubles with Beach Ball, 3rd in Minis with Minator) and Leonne and Milo Courtenay (1st in Doubles with Enid Lewis, 3rd in Singles with Dragon's Breath)	The entries and the judges here together with the picture of Thora Reardon as it is the Thora Reardon Memorial Day combined with the Birthday celebrations.
	Gynith Whatmough, our long suffering and long-serving President, produced the Champion Seedling bloom, Desleigh Anne - here presented with the Patrons' Trophy by Patron Colin Campbell.

	The Singles entered above had to be reduced to just three - winners were: Jay's Orange - 1st (also Grand Champion), Bronco - 2nd and Dragon's Breath - 3rd.
Miniatures were a small group. Winners were: Sylvia Goodman - 1st, Sprinkle Rain - 2nd and Minator - 3rd.

10th Birthday Celebrations Combining with the Thora Reardon Memorial Field Day at Betty Goleby's Garden on 4th May A flower competition with prizes, and recognition of members for the period, created interest while acquaintances were renewed.
	David Gibson, the Director of Newstead House, presented an interesting partial history of botanical happenings in Queensland since Captain Cook passed by.
